Sean Fitzpatrick, MBA
Sean Fitzpatrick is President and founder of TalentMap. Sean has garnered a wealth of experience developing and implementing employee and customer measurement systems. Over the past few years, Sean has worked with firms such as Research In Motion, Open Text, Akamai, Alias and Tundra in the technology sector, HSBC, Chase Manhattan and Royal Bank in the financial services industry. In addition, Talentmap's work has recently expanded to include a number of hospitals and health centres across the country. Previously, Sean was Vice President of Internet Services at an established survey research firm and he worked for a number of years as a management consultant implementing operational improvements in the energy sector.
In addition to growing and developing TalentMap, Sean sits on the board of directors for the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATAAlliance). CATA is Canada's leading and most influential entrepreneurial technology alliance. Sean has also authored a number of articles on measurement in the workplace and he enjoys presenting on the topic. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
Denzil Doyle, PhD
Denzil Doyle's career in Canada's high technology industry has included research and development, sales and marketing, corporate management, and venture capital investing. He was the founding president of Digital Equipment Corporation's Canadian subsidiary and during the eighteen years that he directed it, it evolved into a multi-faceted company with annual sales in excess of $160 million. He has been involved in the startup and development of several firms and has advised governments at all three levels on technology-related and economic development strategies. In 1982, he also co-founded Instantel Inc., an Ottawa-based supplier of electronic instrumentation.
From 1995 to 2005, as Chairman of Capital Alliance Ventures Inc., an Ottawa-based high-tech venture capital firm, he led investments in technology companies in Ottawa and elsewhere in Ontario.
He has served on the boards of directors of several companies. These include: Mobile Data International, CAL Corporation, Nuvotech, Instantel Inc., Mitel Corporation, Leigh Instruments, Newbridge Networks, Gennum Corporation, West End Systems, Med-Eng Systems, Fred Systems, PixeLINK, Consultronics, International Datacasting Corporation, IS2 Medical Systems, LNS Systems, GEAC Computer, Active Systems Inc., Pricedex Software, Advanced Systems Integrations, Kaval Telecom, Cadabra Design Libraries Ltd., Comdale Technologies, Documented Circuits, Rockcliffe Research, BTI Bubble Technologies, Anomira Software, Talentmap, and others.
In recognition of his pioneering efforts in the development of the Ottawa-Gatineau high technology community, he received an Honorary Doctorate of Engineering from Carleton University at its 1981 spring convocation. In 2001, he was granted a fellowship in the Engineering Institute of Canada. In 2002, at NRC's Regional Innovation Awards, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for Innovation. In recognition of his activities in technology commercialization and economic development nationally, we was invested as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2005.
Torrance Wylie
Torrance Wylie, Vice Chairman of Global Public Affairs, is one of Canada’s most respected strategic advisors. Early in his career, Torrance worked as an executive assistant to two prime ministers and has since been active in the Canadian business, political and government communities in senior capacities. At CN, as a consultant and as Senior Vice President, Torrance participated in the privatization of the railway and in its subsequent acquisitions and strategic initiatives to expand the reach of the system and strengthen its overall performance.
Previously, as Executive Vice President of Imasco Limited, Torrance cemented a reputation for a high level of integrity and a results-oriented business perspective. Torrance’s experience in public affairs consulting is also extensive, having been chairman and president of two of Canada’s largest firms and an advisor on several of Canada’s largest and most significant mergers and acquisitions. This experience will assist Global in continuing to provide innovative and effective client solutions. Torrance holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy as well as two years of post-graduate studies in Political Science and History.

DIRECTORS
Kimberly Parker, CMA
Kimberley has over 13 years experience in customer and employee research and client management. She has worked with clients in a variety of areas including high-tech, financial institutions, retail & restaurant chains and consulting companies across the US and Canada. With her industry experience, research practice and management background, she plays an integral role in understanding the client needs and developing research methodology, reporting and action planning tools that are easily deployed by our clients.
Kimberly was formerly the Director of Client Services for In-Touch Survey Systems where she led a team of project managers and research analysts to ensure the seamless implementation of $6 million in research services collected from proprietary data collection units and Internet-based systems.
Kimberly receive her Bachelor's of Commerce from Ottawa University and continued on to become a Certified Managerial Accountant.
She lives in Ottawa where she is a proud mother of three and enjoys various outdoor activities and training.
Sue-Anne Poutanen
As Director of Client Services, Sue-Anne is responsible for hiring, training, coaching and managing all new and experienced project managers, reporting analysts and survey programmers. As an integral part of the executive team, Sue-Anne leads TalentMap’s Client Services group and is responsible for the overall successful execution of all client projects. In addition, Sue-Anne champions a range of process and operation improvements within TalentMap.
She led the introduction of TalentMap’s proprietary reporting technology and more recently its quality assurance system. Based on Sue-Anne’s detailed knowledge of back office systems and technology, she becomes the go-to person to guide and consult on the implementation of some of TalentMap’s largest and most complex client projects.
Recently, Sue-Anne worked directly with Canada Post’s management and largest union (CUPE) to support one of their most complex survey initiatives. She oversaw the successful deployment of their survey into multiple languages and deployed multi-modal surveys (online and paper) to over 50,000 employees in hundreds of locations, while managing the design, creation and delivery of hundreds of final reports. Previous to TalentMap, Sue-Anne managed an Early Childhood Education Center in Blackburn Hamlet.
Sue-Anne holds a Bachelor of Psychology and Sociology (Focus on Statistical Analysis) from Carleton University.
Vivian Castilla, MSc
With over 25 years of Software Development, Vivian has developed cutting-edge business solutions applied to Human Resources, Economics and Statistics Business Administration, Health Care and Nuclear Researchs. Vivian has leaded complex and time critical projects providing distinctive leadership and balance between management and technology. She has worked for many organizations in the technology sector in Cuba, Spain, Argentina, Peru, including Thales, Euromedia, GMS. She has specialized in Database Management Systems and has worked as database consultant for UNDP in Peru and Cuba.

- Monica Helgoth, LLB
David Lundgren
Dave Lundgren has worked in the field of Human Resources as an HR Manager and Consultant. In addition to his experience as a Human Resources Professional, he also brings substantial expertise in the area of sales and business development to TalentMap. He has over 15 years experience working with various national and multi-national corporations.
Dave is the main point of contact for the sales team and is involved in the planning and structuring of TalentMap webinars. He is a trusted advisor of clients on the subject of employee engagement and advises them on the various TalentMap products and services that would best suit their particular needs. Dave facilitates focus groups and advises clients on action planning.
Dave has an Honours, Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University in Labour Studies. He is an active member of the Human Resource Professionals Association.
Dave lives in Ottawa and enjoys cross-country skiing, volleyball and golf.
Monica Helgoth, LLB
With more than 10 years of consultative experience in the area of organizational surveys and market research, Monica has helped many public and private sector organizations leverage business intelligence to make enduring business process improvements and become more productive.
In her current role with TalentMap, Monica has worked on countless survey projects with leading private and public sector partners and clients such as BC Transmission Corporation, BC Oil and Gas Commission, Canadian Direct Insurance, Canadian Western Bank, PPI Financial, Fountain Tire, City of Edmonton and Edmonton Police Services, Trinidad Drilling, Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, Alberta Health Services, Athabasca University, Calgary Airport Authority, Government of Saskatchewan, SaskWater, and Manitoba Lotteries Corporations. These organizations have relied upon Monica’s experience and insights to clearly identify their research objectives and implement complex surveys designed to measure levels of customer, stakeholder and membership engagement. Monica is based in the Edmonton area and currently heads up TalentMap’s Operations in Western and Central Canada.

Jennifer Haineault
Jennifer brings her experience in education, project management and consulting and puts them to harmonious use at TalentMap. Jennifer has a varied background which includes human resources, tax consultation, training, recruitment, sales, and radio. As Project Manager, Jennifer helps her clients develop the full potential of their workforce by successfully implementing TalentMap's myriad employee engagement tools and services.
Jennifer holds a Bachelors degree in Business and Psychology from Mount Allison University and also an Education Degree from the University of Maine, Fort Kent. She is currently a member of the Ontario College of Teachers and is working to obtain her Project Management Professionals Certification.
Nicole Yu, MA
Nicole Yu is a Project Manager with expertise in Research and Development, project management and customer service. In the past 8 years, he/she has worked with (or focused on) Research and Development within the Technical and Healthcare industry (or industries). Some typical clients (or projects) include large, well-known clients such as D+H and Canon.
Nicole has a Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. From this, Nicole brings together a wealth of technical, analytical knowledge combined with years of customer service.
Nicole lives in Ottawa. When not working, Nicole likes to play sports and train her dogs. Nicole enjoys travelling, meeting new people and learning new skills (from gardening to snowboarding).
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING
Kristy Holmes, MSc
Kristy Holmes has 10 years of experience in research, project management and client services in the area of Human Resources consulting. Over the last 7 years with TalentMap, Kristy has implemented hundreds of employee survey and feedback programs for a wide array of public and private sector organizations. As Senior Project Manager, Kristy worked closely with TalentMap clients throughout the entire survey period. She also oversaw the work of intermediate and junior project managers who were assigned supporting roles on large, complex projects. Kristy led the preparations for deployment, the project launch, monitoring of response rates and oversaw all aspects of reporting to ensure smooth and timely delivery. Kristy has managed countless large, complex projects with clients across all sectors including the City of Edmonton, Alberta Health Services, Bayer, the Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto SickKids Hospital), Canadian Tire Corporation Ltd., the House of Commons, Stantec, Scouts Canada and the Worker’s Compensation Board of Manitoba.
More recently, Kristy has become Product Manager at TalentMap, driving the growth of the organization by ensuring our products are top-of-class, innovative and grounded in sound research to ensure our clients improve their workplace. Kristy is also the lead survey design consultant for all TalentMap clients.
Kristy received her Master of Science in Management, specializing in Organizational Behaviour from Queen’s University, School of Business in Kingston, Ontario. Prior to her Master’s degree, Kristy completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queen’s University. In addition, Kristy received advanced project management training through the Council for American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO).
Paul Renaud, MBA candidate
Paul has almost a decade of experience in project management, marketing, leadership, customer service and client services. Over the last year with TalentMap, Paul has implemented multiple employee survey and feedback programs for a wide array of public and private sector organizations in both official languages.
As a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Paul works to improve how we reach our clients and how we engage and interact with the outside world. He also does a portion of the survey programming, as well as overseeing the design process. As such, he has a strong grasp on overall resource requirements and deliverables, which helps him to design communication strategies both for internal use and for client use before, during and after their survey process. Paul has a Bachelor's of Commerce from the John Molson School of Business and is completing his MBA in Change Management at the Sprott School of Business. Additionally, he has a diploma in Modern Languages and Linguistics, as well as Results-Based-Management Knowledge Transfer training.

Antonio Vega
Todd Armstrong
Todd is a research professional with expertise in the fields of organizational communication, and human resources analytics. Over the past five years, he has done research with organizations in both the public and private sectors. Some typical clients include The Canadian Medical Association, MD Physician Services, and The University of Ottawa.
A professor of marketing research at Algonquin College, Todd has had research material published in academic journals. Todd brings a unique mix of skills to TalentMap in that his academic background is in the area of organizational communication and the social sciences. At the same time, he is well-versed in quantitative and statistical research methods that are frequently applied in survey research. Combined, these characteristics make Todd an ideal individual to turn research and insight into real value for our clients.
Todd has a Masters degree in Organizational Communication from The University of Ottawa. He is a member of the MRIA (Marketing Research and Intelligence Association), and sits on the advisory committee for the Marketing and Business Intelligence Research program at Algonquin College’s School of Business.
Todd lives with his partner in the greater Ottawa area. When not working, Todd is an avid gamer, enjoys biking, and loves to play music.
